LuminoChemi

Chemistry is a Passion

About us

LuminoChemi is a chemistry-focused Contract Research Organization (CRO) founded in 2026 and built on more than 12 years of experience in high-level international research laboratories.

We specialise in organic and analytical chemistry, with strong expertise in custom organic molecules synthesis, route scouting, multi-step synthesis, catalysis, asymmetric synthesis, heterocyclic chemistry and fluorescence-related investigations for research and innovation projects. Our work is designed to support research, innovation, and development projects for academic, industrial, and technology-driven clients.

Our mission is to provide reliable, science-driven chemistry services to researchers, startups, laboratories, and industrial partners. We focuses on delivering practical, high-value chemistry services with scientific rigor, clear communication, strong attention to confidentiality and respect for intellectual property (IP). We work with clients on projects ranging from known-compound re-synthesis to more challenging custom synthesis and analytical support needs.

LuminoChemi combines strong chemical expertise with modern digital and AI-assisted workflows to improve the way we explore literature, compare synthetic options, structure technical information, and prepare projects. This helps us work with greater speed, clarity, and rigor, while keeping experimental decisions, laboratory execution, and scientific judgment firmly grounded in hands-on chemistry.

International Focus

Our international ambition is to serve researchers, startups, laboratories, and companies looking for a reliable chemistry partner for custom synthesis, analytical services and R&D support. By combining solid academic training with application-oriented thinking, LuminoChemi aims to be a trusted chemistry partner for clients seeking competence, flexibility, and scientific depth.

Our approach is based on technical quality, responsiveness, adaptability, and a strong understanding of the scientific and operational needs of each project.

Commitment to Algeria

Alongside its international development, LuminoChemi is strongly committed to contributing to the growth of chemistry-related capabilities in Algeria.

One of the major problems faced by public and private laboratories, universities, research teams, and chemistry-related industries in Algeria is the limited access to starting materials, intermediates, reagents, reference compounds, and other specialized chemicals required for research and development. In many cases, these materials are simply unavailable on the local market.

When such compounds must be imported, three major difficulties often arise:

  • Limited or inconsistent availability
  • Very high purchasing and shipping costs
  • Extremely long delivery times, which may extend over several months and in some cases up to a year

These constraints slow down research progress, delay laboratory work, weaken industrial responsiveness, and reduce the overall efficiency of scientific and technical projects. For Ph.D. students, researchers, pharmacists, biologists, and industrial chemists, these supply limitations can become a serious barrier to experimentation, project continuity, and innovation.

LuminoChemi aims to help fill part of this gap by contributing to the local availability of chemistry services, custom synthesis, analytical support, training, and, in the medium term, fine chemicals and research-relevant compounds. By helping make key starting materials, intermediates, and specialized molecules more accessible, we aim to support faster research cycles, lower dependency on difficult imports, and stronger scientific and economic activity in Algeria.

Our long-term vision is not only to provide chemistry services, but also to participate in building a stronger local ecosystem for research, innovation, and chemical production.

We maintain continuous scientific and technological monitoring to remain aligned with current developments in the fields relevant to our activities. We continuously assess opportunities to develop chemical products and services for a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals. Our support may include the production of selected chemicals, advanced training for scientific teams, assistance with the implementation of new equipment and laboratory infrastructure, and scientific support for R&D departments.
